The Medical Science Academy is dedicated to ensuring that their students give back to the community and benefit others during their high school experience. The Academy opens the door to many different opportunities and attempts to ensure that they are medical related.

Academy students get priority placement in Henry Mayo's Volunteer Program and are offered specialized spots in the program
HOSPITAL VOLUNTEER

BLOOD DRIVES

Volunteer at the LA district wide earthquake drill, aiding in the injuries of incoming patients which tests your practical knowledge
CA SHAKE OUT DRILL

The Academy takes part as station volunteers giving out water and Powerade to marathon runners while cheering for them as they pass by.
SCV MARATHON

RELAY FOR LIFE
Volunteer at Los Angeles's largest walk to fight cancer. The Academy participates and raises money to help support the battle against cancer.

SAVING HEARTS FOUNDATION
The MSA teamed up with the Saving Hearts Foundation and Los Angeles County AMR to provide free heart screenings for our community.
