Attention 8th graders!
The 2026/2027 JUMP class flyer information will be sent through the Rio Norte JHS Principal weekend letter this weekend. The Valencia MSA JUMP class will only accept Rio Norte JHS 8th grade students.
What is JUMP?
The Valencia Medical Science Academy's Junior Upcoming Medical Professionals (JUMP) program is designed to prepare and give incoming eighth-grade students a jump start into the Medical Science Academy. In this program, students focus on improving their communication and teamwork skills, which are essential in the medical field. They also gain practical experience in patient care, learn important medical terminology, and more. Through hands-on activities, participants are introduced to basic medical procedures, helping them build a strong foundation for future studies and careers in healthcare. The JUMP program aims to inspire students and equip them with the skills needed for success in the medical profession.
When and Where Does JUMP Meet?
Our eight grade students meet once a week on Tuesdays or Thursdays from the beginning of October till the first week of April. Students will meet on Valencia campus every week from 1500 -1630! Applications will open in September 2026.
